The bearing to target is the compass direction (azimuth) from your turret to the mission objective, and it is the first number you set when laying the gun.

To find it, place your turret position and the target grid on the map, draw the line between them, and read its azimuth with the map's degree scale (0–360°).

The turret traverse control rotates the whole mount to that bearing; getting it right matters because, with no shell spread, the shell flies exactly along the bearing you dial in.

If the order gives coordinates instead of a bearing, convert them on the map first — never eyeball the traverse, since a one-degree error drifts the impact far downrange.

For hidden targets you do not have a direct bearing; instead you triangulate two observer bearings, and the intersection grid gives you the bearing to fire on.

Keep a written record of the bearing that worked for each target so later shots in the same mission are instant rather than re-derived from the map.

This page separates documented information from assumptions so players can use it as a reference without treating unverified claims as fact. Check the in-game interface and official announcements when a mechanic, availability detail, or value may have changed after the source was collected.
