To triangulate in Iron Nest, collect at least two bearings toward the same hidden target, then intersect those bearing lines on your map to fix its coordinates.

Step 1: note the first observer or scout-plane bearing and draw its azimuth line from your turret position; this is only a direction, not yet a point.

Step 2: wait for or request a second bearing from a different observer angle, and draw that line too; the two lines crossing is your target's grid.

Step 3: read the intersection grid as the enemy battery coordinates, then compute the bearing and range from your turret to that point for your gun solution.

Step 4: lay the turret to that bearing, set elevation for the range and your chosen charge, and fire — with no shell spread the shell lands on the triangulated point.

Step 5: if the first shot is off, re-check which bearing was wrong; over two observations rarely both are bad, so fix the outlier rather than re-firing blind.

The Counter-Battery Calculator on this site does steps 1–3 for you: paste both bearings and it returns the intersection grid to fire on.
